Meet the team

Natalie Chapman – Managing Director 

Natalie, our founder and Managing Director,  moved to Norfolk (for the second time) in 2014 with her husband and her twins.

Natalie historically worked in a number of law firms in Lincoln and Norwich specialising in Property Law.  After the birth of her twins, she re-trained into Wills, Trusts and Estate Planning.

She completed her studies with the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives (“CILEX”) to become a Graduate member of CILEX.  One year later she become a full member of the Society of Will Writers and started her first business Trusted-Wills, which has now successfully grown into Trusted Law. 

Her passion is dealing with and advising on complex estates and trusts, and ensuring that the clients wishes will be met when the time comes.

Kate Stephenson – Company Director of Estate Planning

Kate initially qualified as a Barrister and worked in Local Government as a Childcare Lawyer for over nine years before cross qualifying and retraining in the areas of Wills, Trust and Estate Planning.

Kate’s daughter started school in September 2015 and she has been successfully building an Estate Planning company since this time, and is excited to partner up in Trusted Law.  Kate’s passion lays in complex trusts, advising on large and complex estates and negotiation.

Kate lives in Cambridgeshire and her client base covers Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire, Suffolk, Norfolk, North London, Peterborough and Cambridgeshire.

Julia Bell – Wills & Estate Planning Consultant

Julia is historically a criminal defence Solicitor who initially qualified as a Barrister before cross qualifying.  For many years she was responsible for the general Crown Court Department at Draycott Browne Solicitors in Manchester, which included the training and supervision of all fee earners and comprehensive file reviews.

Julia has retrained into the area of Wills, Trusts Estate Planning in order to broaden her area of expertise. 

She has recently moved back to Norfolk with her two children in order to be closer to her family.  Her client base covers Norfolk

Claire Stannard – Wills & Estate Planning Consultant

Claire has spent the last eleven years working for two local charities where her roles have involved supporting vulnerable adults back into work as well as networking with local employers and other organisations. These roles also saw her organising large scale events, managing volunteers and being responsible for large sums of money.

She has always had a keen interest in Law and has recently retrained in order to pursue a career in Will Writing and Estate Planning. She has become an affiliate member of the Society of Will Writers (Aff. SWW)

Claire lives in Norfolk with her husband and two young children and her client base covers Norfolk and North Suffolk.

Nakita Heather – Wills & Estate Planning Consultant

Nakita graduated from the University of Lincoln, obtaining a 2.1 degree in law before completing her Legal Practice Course at the College of Law in York.

Nakita worked as a Trainee Solicitor in Norwich. She then qualified into the Wills, Estate & Powers of Attorney team in a leading law firm in Kings Lynn.

Having had a career break to raise her three children, Nakita is keen to return to Wills and Estate Planning as a Consultant for Trusted Law.

She has become an affiliate member of The Society of Will Writers (Aff.SWW) and now acts for clients in and around Norfolk.

Jayde Penrose – Wills & Estate Planning Consultant

Jayde historically worked in a number of Law Firms in London where she advised on Wills and Powers of Attorney. 

She then moved in-house to a property and estate management company, specialising in Leasehold Law and property matters.

Jayde completed her law degree in 2016 and is now an Affiliate Member of The Society of Will Writers.

Jayde lives in London and her client base covers London, Hertfordshire and Essex.

Sue Stiff – Drafting & Finance Assistant

Sue has a background in administration and finance, and has worked in the Civil Service for 23 years. She was responsible for a managing the provision of estate services, which included liaising and visiting different Civil Servant estates across the Country, managing a team members, creating documents and managing a substantial budget for these provisions.

Sue has recently passed the SWWEPP Wills and Estate Planning Certificate Course and has been accepted as an Affiliate Member of The Society of Will Writers.

She is going to be responsible for assisting with our document drafting, including Wills & LPAs, and managing the financial aspects of our business. Sue is looking forward to the career change and getting to know the team and our clients. 

Sue currently lives in Lincoln with her husband Ray, but is looking to relocate to Norwich in the very near future

Rachael Blunt – PA / Administrative Assistant

Rachael has a background in the customer services environment and will be working closely with Natalie, helping with office administration and PA tasks.

She lives in Norwich with her husband Paul and two young girls. 

Rachael is looking forward to getting to know our clients and helping them in any way she can.
